Welcome

Welcome to Cooker Girl, where girls of all ages enjoy preparing and eating food. This site was coined by Lili, a 4 year old who is inspired to cook. Donned with her apron, she became “Cooker Girl”. It’s precious, we know. This little girl actually does like to cook. As does all the the other girl and women role models in her life. Her mother, aunts, cousins, grandmother, and friends of her mother.

There are usually two type of cooks, the type that follows a recipe to the tee, and the second type that may use a recipe as a guideline, and substitute ingrediences (as Teresa says on the Housewives of New Jersey). We will try to accommodate both types and give good recipe advice.

Whatever the case, we all usually follow some sort of recipe, unless we actually create them ourselves. I suggest you try to acquire at least one all encompassing cookbook at, thrift stores, online, or at a local book store. Some main stay books, good ole American cookbooks are Joy of Cooking, Betty Crocker, and Fannie Farmer.

Please take a look at the blog for various, food, and recipes. Please feel free to ask any question.

Thank you from Cooker Girls in northern California.
